Mr Ajit Kumar has 24 years Plus career in Social & Sustainable Development, Public Policy & Affairs, Stakeholder Consultation, Communication, Media, Advocacy and Infrastructure sector, working with top national and international organisations. He is Founder, Khushigram, the Social & Green Enterprise Platform working on Integration & Aggregation across sectors- policy, projects, products and services. Khushigram is Partnership based model, currently managed by Khushi Social & Green Networks (KSGN) Pvt Ltd. Khushigram is starting Khushigram Integrated Centres with partners across the country and E Commerce for the Villages. He is also the MD of KSGN, Editor & CEO, Radiance Media, Hon President, The Oceanic Group (since 1996) and Convener Global Leaders on Development based on his Interactions, among others with many Presidents, Prime Ministers, UN Heads and Noble Laureates. He is an institution builder has an innate capacity to bring various groups and prominent people together. He is an innovator, entrepreneur and motivator.
He also Chaired Smart Villages 2016 and 2017 where a broad consensus on Rural Development and Agriculture was evolved between MPs, Panchayat Sarpanches, Pradhans, CEOs and other stakeholders. He moderated, planned and managed the Interactive Seminar Series (7 years) on various aspects of Agriculture, Food, Climate Change, Water, Environment, Energy, Health, Consumption and Disaster with many current and former ministers, secretaries, and head of institutions, companies and social organisations. He was selected by Hindustan newspaper among leading ‘Youth of Bihar’ on ‘World Youth Day’ in 2012. He participated in over 10,000 leading national and international events of almost all sectors. He was Resource person at the training of 2004 batch IAS officers of Bihar and Primary Education Master Trainer (also did Curriculum Development & Evaluation for Class 1-8 with Eklavya, a prominent NGO at Madhya Pradesh (1997). Led Teams for Pravasi Film Festival 2010, Delhi Public Library (SE Asia’s biggest library), National Seminar on Terracotta & Bronze and Partner, International Sports Movies and TV India FICTS Festival, Mumbai dedicated to promote Sports and Sports films (2006 & 2007). He did Research and Interviews for book, ‘Leadership India’ featuring interviews of top social personalities and corporates across India to be published and released at World HR Conference 2011.
He was also Co Convenor and Fellow, Jal Jan Jodo Abhiyan also and has been involved Water Conservation and River and Ghats cleaning at some places including Varanasi. He has been part of all 4 Jal Manthan Stakeholder Meetings of the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation also.
He has been Chairperson of Smart Villages for last 2 years and Key Propagator of Ruralising India and is also on Advisory Board of many National and International Organisations and Conferences, the latest being Global Agri Connect 2017. He was also a Key Planner and Organiser of the Ruralising India Conference (2017).
Recently, he delivered Talks at Ryan International, Mayur Vihar Phase 3 and Petals World School, Kaushambi, and was Keynote Speaker at the Sustainable Livelihood Seminar on 6 Nov at 9th Edition of the Prestigious CMS VATAVARAN FESTIVAL.
He has actively participated in Consultations with Ministry of Rural and Urban Development,, Housing and Poverty Alleviation, NITI Aayog, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, AYUSH, Health, Tourism, Culture & Electronics, Telecom, Drinking Water and Sanitation and Urban Development as well as Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Environment, Forest, Climate Changer and Power, New & Renewable Energy and Petroleum and Natural Gas ministries and visited Rivers- Ganga at Varanasi, Patna and Allahabad and Yamuna at Delhi, Noida and Allahabad and Hindon at Ghaziabad also with various teams.
He was also invited to release the Local Green Development Report for MSMEs at Vigyan Bhawan during World Environment Day 2018.
Khushigram launched the Global Sustainable Development Festival series on 2nd September 2018 celebrating Krishna and Gandhi as Green and Sustainable Development Icons.
He has been invited as Chief Guest and Guest of Honor at many international and national events like REINVEST, on Bioenergy and also Communities / RWAs on Urban Farming.
Khushigram is trying to reach to 1000 proactive schools by 15 August 2019 and 5000+ by 2020 to make them really Happy- Khushigram schools as part of our School-Society connect.
