Khushigram not only generates power by natural sources to fulfill it’s usages but also for neighborhood requirements. This move is towards self-sufficiency of power generation at local level by:
1. Solar Energy & Appliances
2. Biogas: Using Cow dung and other animal waste for cooking and fuel
3. Biomass: Using rice husk, maize waste, etc. for lighting and household appliances
4. Mechanical energy: Using Ox / Buffaloes, Bicycles etc
5. Bio-fuels, Baggase, Waste to Energy and other means will also be tried
6. Small Hydro and Small Wind power plants will also be tested
